Finding hidden secrets in Hogwarts Legacy often requires players to solve clever puzzles scattered across the open world. One of the most unique side quests asks you to use the musical map to find the treasure, which leads to a musical bell puzzle. Completing this challenge rewards you with exclusive gear and a fun nod to the overarching franchise.
Locating the Musical Map in Henrietta's Hideaway
To begin the quest, players must navigate to Henrietta's Hideaway located in the southern Manor Cape region. Inside the dungeon, solve the spell cube puzzles and fight through the Ashwinder enemies to reach the inner chambers. Search behind a hidden wall on the right side of the main room to discover the parchment sitting on a table.
Heading to Clagmar Castle
Once you collect the item, your quest log updates and directs you toward the Clagmar Coast region. Fast travel or fly your broom to Clagmar Castle, where a large set of hanging bells resides in the southwestern ruins. Clear out the local dark wizards first so you can solve the puzzle without interruption.
Ringing the Bells in the Correct Order
The musical notes on the map correspond to a eight-note melody played on two vertical columns of bells. Aim your Basic Cast spell carefully at each bell to strike the exact sequence required. The proper sequence is: bottom right, third from top left, second from top left, second from top right, third from top left, top left, top right, and second from top right.
Claiming Your Quest Rewards
When you hit the final bell correctly, the familiar franchise theme song will play aloud in full. Shortly after the tune finishes, a reward chest spawns directly beside the wooden platform. Opening the chest completes the Solved by the Bell quest and grants you valuable gear, Galleons, and experience points.
